<div style="clear:both;"></div>Ich habe in den letzten Tagen tatsächlich mal eine Weltkarte gezeichnet und auf bewährte Weise am PC mit Farbe versehen.<br /><br />Damit einhergehend ergab sich das folgendschwere Problem, daß die Größe des Planeten feststand. Bzw. auch nicht. Denn er war viel zu klein, oder Æýansmottír viel zu groß. Schlußendlich, nach viel Herumrechnerei und einer nachträglich Verkleinerung von Æýansmottír auf der schon fertigen Karte ergibt jetzt folgende Werte:<br /><br />- Æýansmottír ist in der Breite auf ca. 2000km angewachsen.<br />- Der Planet hat einen Durchmesser von 6092km und ist damit fast marsgroß.<br />- Die Anziehungskraft ist geringer als auf der Erde, wird aber in der Bastelei ignoriert.<br />- Die Bahnneigung zur Sonne ist recht stark - damit werden die Klimazonen in den gemäßigten Breiten mehr gestaucht - ansonsten wären die kurzen Klimazonen auf Æýansmottír nicht vorstellbar.<br /><br />Bei den Kontinenten gibt es einige Eastereggs ... <img src="http://aeyansmottir.gomeck.de/serendipity/templates/default/img/emoticons/wink.png" alt=";-)" style="display: inline; vertical-align: bottom;" class="emoticon" /><div style="clear:both; padding-bottom:0.25em"></div>

<div style="clear:both;"></div>Der Planet, auf dem Æýansmottír liegt, hat eine solähnliche Sonne, und umkreist diese in ca. 310 Tagen. Der Planet selbst ist sehr klein, da ich damit schmalere Klimazonen zu erreichen gedenke, und dreht sich in 19 irdischen Stunden einmal um die eigene Achse.<br /><br />Der Tag wird in vier Großeinheiten eingeteilt, die sich grob vereinfacht Morgen, Mittag, Abend und Nacht bezeichnen lassen. Diese Einheiten werden wiederrum in vier Teile zerteilt, die die Funktion von "Stunden" einnehmen - also 16 Einheiten pro Tag.<br />Es gibt noch eine feinere Einteilung, die die "Stunde" nochmals in 10 Teile unterteilt, sie ist jedoch beispielsweise in ländlichen Gebieten nicht sehr gebräuchlich, da es vor allem dort nicht so sehr "auf die Minute" ankommt.<br /><br />Der Mond Æýansmottírs ist rötlich und erscheint am Nachthimmel unter einem Blickwinkel von 3,1 Grad, wirkt also erheblich größer als der irdische Mond (der unter einem Blickwinkel von durchschnittlich 0,5 Grad bzw. 31 Bogenminuten erscheint), er umkreist den Planeten ist 34 Tagen und einigen Stunden einmal.<br /><br />Das Jahr wird in drei Jahreszeiten unterteilt, die ca. 103 Tage währen, und in 9 "Monate" zu je 34 Tagen, der erste und letzte Monat des Jahres haben je 36 Tage.<br /><br />Was den Beginn der Zeitrechnung ausgelöst hat, weiß ich noch nicht wirklich - da die Drachen allerdings so alt werden (über 1000 Jahre), halte ich eine Geschichtsschreibung (auch wenn die Anfänge rein mythologisch und nicht tatsächlich geschichtlich überliefert) von ca. 12.000 Jahren für wahrscheinlich. Dieser Punkt ist aber noch sehr unsicher. Ferner besteht die Frage, ob es überhaupt so etwas wie "Wochen" gibt; ich tendiere dazu, es zu verneinen.<br /><br />All die erwähnten Methoden der Einteilung von Jahr und Tag gelten speziell für die Alben. Zwerge haben zum Teil andere Kalender- und Zeitrechnungssysteme, wobei sie sich immer mehr angleichen.<br /><br />Die Monate des Jahres haben bereits auch provisorische Namen, die ins Deutsche übersetzt etwa folgendermaßen lauten:<br />Schneemonat, Schmelzmonat oder Wassermonat, Sturmmonat, Windmonat, Geburtsmonat oder Lebensmonat, Sonnenmonat, Hitzemonat, Erntemonat, Todesmonat oder Vergänglichkeitsmonat.<div style="clear:both; padding-bottom:0.25em"></div>

<div style="clear:both;"></div>Lediglich Alben (und Nixen) haben erwähnenswerte Städte, da Zwerge im Allgemeinen eine Gemeinschaftsgröße von 100-200 Personen selten überschreiten.<br /><br />Es gibt beschlossenermaßen 14 Alben-Städte, die diesen Status für sich beanspruchen. Die Definition, wann sich eine Stadt so nennen darf, muß noch weiter ausgearbeitet werden, doch spielen Einwohnerzahl, Selbstverwaltung, sesshafte Handelshäuser, Stadtrecht und Münzprägerecht mit Sicherheit eine Rolle.<br /><br />Hatte ich zunächst eine Stadtgröße von 5000 Einwohnern als Mindestgröße angepeilt, so habe ich diese Größe inzwischen schon nach unten hin korrigiert. In Deutschland liegt diese Untergrenze bei 2000 Einwohnern, in Dänemark gar bei 200 Einwohnern (bei Japan allerdings bei 50.000 Einwohnern). Mir schwebt derzeit eine Mindesteinwohnerzahl von 3000 Personen vor, inkl. Albinos.<br /><br />Die größte Stadt des Kontinents wird in der <i>Großen Bucht</i> liegen, ihre Einwohnerzahl dürfte im fünfstelligen Bereich liegen. Nur ein bis zwei weitere Städte erreichen eine Einwohnerzahl, die an die 10.000 heranreicht, der Rest liegt eher im Bereich der Mindesteinwohnerzahl.<br /><br />Genaue Lage der Städte und deren Namen sind noch nicht festgelegt, die Lage hängt auch wesentlich von der entgültigen Topografie und den Klimazonen ab, die so, wie sie momentan skizziert sind, vermutlich nicht haltbar sind. So ist die Wüsten-Zone im Süden wohl fehl am Platze, ebenso die umgebende Steppe. Wie sich der meist von Osten kommende, feuchte Meereswind auf das Klima jenseits des Ostgebirges auswirkt, muß noch geklärt werden, bis dahin sind vor allem auch die Lage der Städte im Süden und im Zentralland unsicher.<div style="clear:both; padding-bottom:0.25em"></div>
